I played Shadowgate a TON as a kid and actually spent like 2-3 months playing through it for the first time with my brother. We wrote letters back and forth to Nintendo Power and struggled through all the puzzles; it was such an accomplishment when we finally finished it! My fondest memory of the game was the clue to getting the orb, which is etched on the stairs next to the Sphinx. My brother and I wanted to remember it, so we etched it on our NES as well! Now, I have it etched on myself forever imgur.com/nLSlhI want to get one more Shadowgate tattoo at some point, and that is the quote "The first story's end" somewhere. Thanks for making Shadowgate awesome!! Best of luck on the Kickstarter!!

That is pretty badass....I could see myself getting a similar tattoo if I were to get a tattoo at all.
Really cool.

I remember that puzzle to this day from the NES version. how did such a puzzle game etch such a memory into my brain when I was 8-9 years old.
